CAREERS IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY

Supplies: White trash bags, tape, scissors and markers.

Divide students into groups according to their interest. You will have three groups:

1. Students interested in fashion design.
2. Students interested in modeling.
3. Students interested in fashion commentating.

Each student must be placed in one of the three groups. Then form as many groups as needed taking one student from each original group to form a new group consisting of one fashion design, modeling and commentator. Have the groups design an outfit from the supplies provided. The design student leads the designing, the model wears the outfit and the commentator will describe the outfit. When each group has finished have a fashion show in the class. I have filmed it for the class to watch. This is a great introductory lesson to careers.
