In order to
be knowledgeable about the world of fashion, it will be important for
you to develop the practice (and interest) of reading and watching for
news related to these areas. Every other Friday you will need to have
prepared your fashion news report to present to the class. Theis presenation
needs to be prepared well in advance, well thought out, and presented
so that everyone can benefit from your work.
You may use
print or broadcast media as your source of news. If it's broadcast media
and you wish to use video as a part of your presetation, let me know
a day in advance.
Each presentation is worth
175 pointys and counts as a PROJECT GRADE.
FASHION NEWS CRITERIA
1. Your
presentation should include:
- Title and Source
- Summary of Information
- Reflection (YOUR thoughts)
- Significance of Information
(How it relates to class)
- Copy of Article (must
not be older than 6 months)
2. Reports my be
typed. DO NOT START SENTENCES WITH "BASICALLY" OR WITH AN
ADJECTIVE.
