DESIGNER
Mattel® has called you
to create a new doll collection for their teen line-up. They have requested
a doll group to target girls between the ages of 15 and 17. In order
to present the doll to Mattel®, you need to create a promotional
plan and present it in the
boardroom.
The information must be typed
and formatted using the DECA standards for Fashion Merchandising Promotion

Here are some of the requests
of Mattel® for your presentation:
Budget : $25,000
- Name of each individual
doll and her friends
- 3 complete outfits (total)
for the dolls
- Create the home, crib,
or lair for the dolls.
- Price point
Here are some questions that need to be answered during your presentation:
- What is the profile of
your target audience?
- How will you promote
the collection?
- Where will you begin
the promotion? (City, State, Store)
