MIX AND MATCH

Objective: To develop an understanding of the different types of dress: Black Tie, Black Tie Optional, Business, Business Casual, and Casual.

Directions: Students are to pick 5 items of clothing to take to the specified occasion of Fashion Island. Items of clothing are cut and pasted from a magazine or catalog. Each item of clothing is to be numbered 1-5. Students will then configure their outfits (ie. 1+2, 2+3. 1, 3+5). The student who has the most outfits from the 5 pieces of clothing wins!

Evaluation: Students must configure their items of clothing to make the most number of outfits for the specified occasion. Teacher can set scale on the number of outfits.
