Amusement Park Background Research
Designing And Marketing A New Amusement
Park For Your Generation
The students are first divided into groups
of three or four so that they can freely discuss their ideas about what
kind of amusement park would appeal to them.
A Group Leader for each group then reports
what his or her group has decided the ideal parameters for an amusement
park for their generation based on this outline.
Finally, each student is responsible for
writing his or her final analysis of "A New Amusement Park for Your
Generation," based on personal ideas and any group conclusions that
may be appropriate.
You will research 3 different amusement
parks. For each of the three parks you will need to find the following
information.
1. Name of the park
2. Number of roller coasters
3. Names of roller coasters
4. Names of park areas/sections
5. Ten other rides (type and name)
6. Water rides
7. Available food and beverages
8. Entertainment offered
9. Services Offered
10. Location of park
11. Surrounding cities
12. Any other pertinent information you
discover
