Teacher Notes:  Prior to issuing this assignment review with class the importance of conducting secondary research before completing the primary research plan and tools.  You should also give examples of demographic, lifestyle, and psychographic data.  Prepare students to look for anything!  Some of the community sites have tons of good stuff. Others are  somewhat lacking.  Encourage them to look anywhere their imagination takes them.  You might want to prepare a fill in the blank handout for students to use.  All I give them is a copy of the outline from the DECA Inc. contest guide at the beginning of the unit with “How To” notes added to each section.

Handouts:  None
