Virginia
DECA has named the American
Cancer Society as it's 2007-2008 state charity, and hope that
you will take part in our statewide efforts to help make a difference.
The empassioned state officer team feels strongly that this organization
is worthy of our efforts. Please join us in raising funds for this
worthwhile cause.
As you can
read on the Program of Work page, Virginia DECA--led by its state
officer team--plans to host one or more concerts to raise funds
for the ACS.
we do hope that you will contribute in any way possible to make
these events successful!
Dbay has
not gone away. The state officer team also plans to host Dbay again
in December, raising funds for the Virginia
DECA Foundation. The Virginia
DECA Foundation involves private and corporate friends in building
a fund to provide our membership with college scholarships.
Awards
will be granted at SLC to those chapters that get the most involved
in in our charitable efforts. With more than 13,000 members, we
can certainly make a difference! See the Program
