We've all been there. You just delivered a great lesson, but now you have a few minutes to go before the bell rings (and occasionally more than a few minutes). You can't let your students just "hang out" because that's when they get into trouble. Here is a partial file that I kept when I was teaching. You will find several ideas for keeping your students busy for 5 or 10 minutes. You may even choose to get a little createive on what you do with them. For example, I always used the trivial statments as qucompetitive qeustions, kind of alike a "Who wants to be a millionaire" type game, which also helped to slow down the pace and not go through so many of them..
